Touched by the presence of God at a young age, Herman Gaines knew that God had a calling on his life. However, it wouldn't be until his senior year of high school that he fully surrendered to the call. This would be the moment in his life were Herman would say that he encountered the reality of the Gospel. The Lord immediately began to use Herman to bring revival to his high school and even to some of his family members! In many of these revivals young and old people would get saved, fall out under the power of God and be baptized with the Holy Spirit!

 

The Lord truly ignited a fire in Herman's heart which would eventually lead him to travel around the world to preach and minister the gospel of Jesus Christ under the covering of Remnant Ministries International with Evangelist Pat & Karen Schatzline. Being able to travel with Remnant Ministries International exposed Herman to the great and mighty things that God is doing in the world today! People were getting saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, Miracles, Signs and Wonders were taking place in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It was as if everything that God began to deal with Herman about when it pertains to reaching the world for Christ was being made manifested at that time.

 

However, it wasn't too long after having this experience that the lord would deal with Herman and Evangelist Pat Schatzline about starting his own evangelistic ministry. Thus, Fire Starter Ministries International was born.

 

Fire Starter Ministries International was launched in 2017 as the Evangelistic Ministry of Herman Gaines. F.S.M.I. exist to ignite the fires of revival to the cities of America and the Nations of the World by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and demonstrating the power of the Holy Spirit through events and media.. 


Herman is a graduate of Remnant School of Ministry in Birmingham Alabama and is currently attending Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, but his greatest education has come from years of ministry side-by-side with his mentor and father Apostle/Bishop H.Thomas Gaines.
